I disagree. Unlike 9/11 this terrorist attack was a pretty big and sloppy operation. Believe it or not you can blame leaders for failing to protect their citizens and so you can put some of the blame on Netanyahu…he’s clearly incompetent.
Magnificent piece of writing, which shows Daisley as a serious thinker and not just as a highly entertaining political satirist. I am totally despairing of how Hamas has managed to conduct such a feat of propaganda, that has convinced so many that they are the good guys & Isreal the evil genocidal dictators. This piece offers insight into how this may have happened and it's terrifying.
On October 7, the Hamas terrorists were armed, the Israelis massacred were defenseless. The unanswered question is why did Israel disarm its citizens most of whom are IDF veterans and leave them vulnerable to mass rape and murder by Hamas? An incredibly stupid decision and the Israeli government is clearly culpable. Every Jewish family in Israel (and the US) should have a 9 mm handgun, an AR15 rifle and plenty of ammunition for both. Every adult and teenage member of the family should be proficient in their use. Have anti-gun Jewish politicians in both countries learned nothing from the Holocaust and the latest slaughter? Isn't it time for the Jewish people to tell them to go fuck themselves?
A fantastic piece of work Stephen. Its hard to know when America lost its asbestos stomach for vengeance. The war on terror wore everyone out and the disorderly evacuation from Kabul marked a very clear line in the sand. The message it sent was heard in Moscow, Beijing and Rafah: "The worlds Policeperson needs to take a time out in its safespace."
