I appreciate this is moving off topic, but one reason why the dualling delays are being felt along the length is the increase is Invernessian population over the past 20 years & absolute need to use lorries as core supply means rather than train.
Central belt greens seem to prefer the rest of us to revert to cart tracks.

on wings there was a cartoon of the lovely Lorna suggesting we should un-dual the A9 and use the generated refund to plug the fiscal hole.
