I still don't understand why your article on gas prices from last week got so little traction... Personally that issue concerns me much more that Sturgeon's shenanigans. She really needs to be ignored as there are much more pressing matters at stake.
Equally-confected indignation was prompted by the other half of this story : Truss calling Sturgeon an “ attention seeker”. The SNP went into paroxysms of rage and John Swinney said that the remark proved that Liz Truss was not fit to be a prime minister.
Unfortunately for Swinney and Sturgeon, a video clip has surfaced of a 2018 debate in the Scottish Parliament during which Sturgeon called Willie Rennie a “pathetic attention seeker“ and there is John Swinney applauding the remark. Hypocrisy laid bare.
It always amazes me just how many people wish to pile on and attach the victimhood badge to their breast-beating. Liz T remarked on Sturgeon, yet everyone else associated with her as being tarred with the same brush, when they plainly didn’t listen with their ears. This Westminster vs Scotland lie must be put to bed. True, the Tories do little to soften the blow, but it’s time they did.
